Proxoin is an instant cryptocurrency exchange that allows you to exchange crypto fast and buy it with a bank card. The service provides the best crypto-to-crypto rates and supports over 140 cryptocurrencies available for exchange.
Proxoin’s trading algorithm is integrated into the largest cryptocurrency exchange platforms, including Binance, Poloniex, Bittrex, etc. In the span of milliseconds, Proxoin makes bids and asks on the platforms, then selects and suggests the best available rate and displays the estimated rate on our site. The rates remain approximate until the transaction is actually made on the blockchain, which is why the exchange rate at the time of a transaction may differ slightly from the estimated rate that you see when you begin a transaction.
Exchange rate is the rate at which a unit of one currency can be exchanged for another. There are two exchange options available at Proxoin web and mobile: floating and fixed. Each one is described below to help you choose one that suits you best.
Choosing the fixed rate makes sense when exchanging crypto while not willing to accept exchange rate market risk. This includes cases involving large amounts of crypto and/or periods of extreme market volatility.
Your email is required to create an account that grants you access to your transaction history, password editing and other account settings. Alternatively, you can create an account using an already-existing Facebook or Twitter.
2FA authentication is a method that keeps your account protected. To log in to your Proxoin account, you’ll need to use a Google Authenticator app. You may turn the verification off anytime you want.
Usually, this notification is shown if our system detects multiple consecutive log-in attempts to your account. It's not necessarily a break-in attempt, but to prevent unauthorized access, your account has been temporarily blocked. In order to restore access to your account, you are required to create a new password. We strongly advise you to set a reliable password and to enable 2FA for your account to avoid any security issues in future. Please note that 2FA can only be enabled from the web version of our platform.
A wallet is a digital place where you can store cryptocurrency coins and tokens. A wallet address is a randomly generated combination of digits and letters that is associated with a particular wallet. Proxoin does not provide wallet addresses and never stores user deposits. To exchange cryptocurrencies on Proxoin, you need to provide a previously-existing wallet address where you can receive your exchanged currency.
Just figure out what coin you want to buy and look for a stable compatible wallet. As a rule, each coin has its official wallet client. Note that each wallet has its unique address or a tag with a private key that is required to restore your wallet if you lose it. Proxoin will never asks for your private keys. Store them in a safe place and never show them to anyone. If your private keys are stolen, your wallet and all your coins will be lost forever.
In any transaction there is always a sender and a recipient. The recipient’s address is the wallet address where you will receive the currency you buy. For example, if you want to buy Ether (ETH), you should specify an ETH wallet address in the recipient field, and Proxoin will send coins to this address once the transaction is complete. In general, the recipient’s wallet address is a customer's address Proxoin will send coins to once a transaction is complete.
Unfortunately, blockchain transactions are irreversible. Once a transaction is made (money is sent to a particular wallet address), it cannot be rolled back. So, if you are going to exchange cryptocurrency, be sure to double check all payment details carefully before sending.
